Essentials of Presence & Mindfulness | Online Course
The Practical Mindfulness live workshop series is now also available as an online course. The program brings together the best of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and ontological coaching and presents them through a classical mindfulness lens.
The first module—Essentials of Presence & Mindfulness—can be done as a standalone online course. It will introduce you to the importance—and the practical competence—of presence and mindfulness. You’ll learn about the three key elements of mindfulness: being aware; being nonjudgemental; and being nonreactive. You’ll be able to bring yourself back into the present as a way of dealing with runaway thoughts. You’ll learn to meditate. (If you choose to continue with the program, you’ll learn to apply the essentials of presence and mindfulness to subjects like emotion regulation, handling stress and building resilience, decision-making, getting into the flow state (i.e. the state of optimal performance) and even to improving your ability to relate to other people.)
The online self-study program covers all the content of the live program and more! It includes excerpts from the book, plus exercises that are unique to this format! It’s easily accessible via laptop or mobile phone. There are audio versions of the downloadable documents so you can listen instead of reading, if that’s your preferred style. Plus you’ll have ongoing access to the material—including the guided meditations—once you’ve completed the course.
What are you waiting for? Wherever your are, is the entry point!
